TESCO has lodged an appeal over its plans for a new foodstore at Mill Lane in Alton.

The decision follows East Hampshire District Council's North Planning Committee's refusal of planning permission for a 6,112 square metre retail foodstore, on land at the Mill Lane junction with Montecchio Way, last week.
