Alton town councillors Barbara Tansey and Janice Treacher will hold a drop-in session at 16 Market Square in Alton on December 13 from 10am until midday.

During this session representatives of Energy Alton will be available to speak to residents about saving energy.

A spokesperson for Alton Town Council said: “This is a chance for you to discuss important issues and share ideas with some of your town councillors. We are here to listen and help where we can. Your voice matters.”

The town council is responsible for allotments, Alton’s open spaces, bus shelters in the town centre, CCTV, Christmas lights, play areas, town council noticeboards, the pump track, skate parks, sports pitches, The Cairn, town centre planters and town council events.
