A VICTIM of repeated childhood sexual abuse has spoken of her relief after justice was finally served on the then Bordon paedophile who abused her.
Feeling "robbed of her childhood", the former Alton woman said she felt as though a "weight had been lifted from her shoulders" because someone had at last believed her.
As the victim in this trial was aged between four and eight at the time of the offences, Judge Christopher Prince specified that her name should not be published.
Now in her mid-20s, she was speaking after Ian Malcolm MacGillivray, 63, was jailed for four years at Durham Crown Court.
MacGillivray was found guilty of two, of four, counts of indecent assault on the girl, dating from the 1990s, while he was living in Bordon.
