Whitehill Town Council elects new town mayor

COUNCILLOR Leeroy Scott was elected town mayor of Whitehill & Bordon at the annual meeting of Whitehill Town Council last Thursday.

He was presented with the chain of office by outgoing mayor Cllr Bisi Kennard and chose wife Lisa to be his mayoress. He also becomes full council chairman.

Cllr Andy Tree and Cllr Catherine Clark were re-elected as council leader and deputy leader respectively. Cllr Roger Russell was elected deputy town mayor and vice-chairman of the council.
