FOUR Marks Cricket Club’s annual general meeting was a melancholy occasion last week, for it marked the disbandment of the club.

The club had a proud history, fielding sides in the Hampshire League, competing in the Medstead KO Cup (also now discontinued) and playing friendly fixtures on Sundays.

An acute lack of playing members forced the club’s withdrawal from the league and now Four Marks Cricket Club is winding down altogether.
