HASLEMERE 9, CHICHESTER II 1

HASLEMERE showed no mercy on bottom side Chichester II at Woolmer Hill on Saturday.

The Blues enjoyed a nine-goal spree, with Matt Hemming scoring a hat-trick and Josh Cowell and Campbell Hancock bagging two apiece. Charlie Millsom and Andy Powell netted one apiece.

Haslemere visit Epsom this Saturday in the Hants/Surrey Regional 1.

It was a good day for the Haslemere club. The resurgent 2nd XI held high-riding Bournemouth II to a goalless draw in Hampshire 1 and the 3rd XI defeated Yateley II 3-1 in their Hampshire 3 meeting.

Meanwhile, the Ladies 1st XI were running riot in their Hampshire Women’s League Division 1 match against Havant II. Haslemere powered to a 13-0 victory and continue to trail leaders Winchester by just two points.

The Ladies 2nd XI won 2-0 away to Andover in their Division 2 fixture.

In Division 3, the Ladies 3rd XI drew 0-0 at home to Havant IIIa.
