AN ALTON man accused of assaulting three police officers is to stand trial at Winchester Crown Court.

Christopher Harman, 35, of Greenfields Avenue, is alleged to have attacked the officers at the Police Investigation Centre, Basingstoke, on December 13, last year.

He did not enter a plea in his initial hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on December 30.

Mr Harman is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court for a plea and trial management hearing on January 26.
