THE children and families of Andrews' Endowed Primary School at Holybourne have been collecting gifts to fill Christmas shoe boxes to send to poor children.
Like thousands across the country they are taking part in Samaritan's Purse/Operation Christmas Child - a children's Christmas project spreading love, joy and smiles to children in the Third World.
With a collection date of Monday, Andrews' Endowed have already contributed more than 50 boxes, and they hope for more. The children have gained an understanding of children less privileged than themselves. With the boxes collected so far are pupils Alexander, Callum, Lauren, Daisy and Faye.
