CHILDREN from Binsted and Bentley primary schools joined together for a Remembrance Service at the Holy Cross Church in Binsted on Friday.

The service was led by the Reverend Yann Dubreuil and an Alton College student played The Last Post on bugle.

The children and staff observed a two-minute silence before wreaths from each school were laid at the foot of the village war memorial. This was followed by every child laying a poppy in tribute.
