organisers Peter and Ysanne Legg described the Winter Beer Festival at Alton College on Friday and Saturday as "like the biggest pub in Alton".

More than a thousand enjoyed a feast of food, drink and music at the three sessions when beers and ciders from all over England were on tap together with some light and fruity wine from Ropley's Courtland Vineyard.
