A DISABLED teenager may not get a summer tour of Europe after his carer was caught drink-driving near Alton.

Nathan James pleaded with Aldershot magistrates to defer his driving ban so that he could take a young boy on a summer road trip.

But the 29-year-old from Upper Froyle may have to change his plans after being banned from driving for at least 14 months.

James, of Lord Mayor Treloar's College, was also heavily fined after admitting last Thursday to one count of driving under excess alcohol.
