BLUEBIRD Care staff spent an afternoon at the Alton Maltings Centre, hosting more than 25 of their customers over bingo and cream teas.

As Alton and Alresford’s first “overall outstanding” Care Quality Commission-rated home and live-in care provider, the independent nature of its service means that Bluebird Care is able to take customers into the community to put on treats of this nature.

Mrs Spenser, a Bluebird Care customer from central Alton, said: “I had such an enjoyable time and it was really nice to get out with my Bluebird carer and meet other people. All of the girls at Bluebird went to such an effort baking cakes and diabetic food, as well as hosting a fabulous bingo session. It was great fun!”
