BILLED as a “Nativity play with a strange twist” certainly with a title like the Grumpy Camel, St Mary’s Primary School in Bentworth had a few surprises in store for the parents and friends who filled the school hall on December 20.

The camel provided a lot of laughter, helping to create a happy Christmas atmosphere, and the youngsters gave polished and deserved the loud applause at the end of each performance.
