HOLYBOURNE Singers will be repeating their successful ‘Come and Sing’ event next Saturday, December 3, at St Lawrence Church, Alton, when they will be performing Frederick Handel’s The Messiah.

For those who would like to raise their voices and join in there is an opportunity to take part an afternoon rehearsals starting at 2.30pm and concluding at 5.30pm, or you can join the audience for the performance, starting 6.30pm.

Soloists will include lyrical soprano Alison Lewis, Winchester Cathedral countertenor Paul de Plessis Smith, tenor Jonathan Upfold, and Winchester Cathedral baritone Ben Cooper.

The organist will be Mark Dancer, of St Peter’s Church, Petersfield.

Tickets, available from [email protected], will be £15 for performers (including a hire copy) or £12 (with own copy). Audience tickets are £10.
