RETAILERS anxious that a future Saturday market should have the right impact on trade will meet to discuss their concerns.
They are worried at the apparent lack of consultation over proposals by Alton Initiatives Management Ltd – supported by Alton Town Council – to introduce a regular Saturday market in a bid to maintain the vibrancy of the High Street and increase footfall.
