Team Becky – Alton couple Roger and Sandie Scrivens plus seven friends – took part in the ASICS London 10k run on July 10.
Ten thousand people ran on one of the hottest days of the year. No Team Becky personal bests were achieved but all nine were ecstatic to finish. Six Team Becky members ran in Yorkshire and Dorchester.
Roger and Sandie’s daughter Becky died of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) in 2004.
