POLICE officers investigating the theft of a wallet in Alton have released images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Hampshire Constabulary received a report on Wednesday, June 7, regarding a wallet which had been stolen from the NatWest Bank on the High Street.

The wallet belongs to a 77-year-old man.

A police spokesman said: “We would like to speak to the man and woman seen in the CCTV images as they may have information which could help our investigation.”

The police have also put out an appeal to anyone who might recognise the people in the images to come forward.
