MORE than 20 people have signed a letter to Alton Town Council seeking a debate on benefits that might accrue from a change of council leadership in advance of an electors meeting on Wednesday, April 13, at 7pm in the town hall.

The meeting will feature a presentation by guest speaker Simon Jenkins, head of planning at EHDC, and an opportunity for electors living in the Alton area to ask questions and make statements. Questions on what part ATC should play in the redevelopment of the Coors brewery site, and if ATC should suggest a ‘preferred proposal’ have been received.
