ALTON'S Jane Austen Regency Week has been declared another success, securing a regular slot in the town's events programme.

Organised by Alton Chamber of Commerce and Industry to raise the profile of the author in the area, according to ACCI president, Pat Lerew, the event is going from strength to strength.
